Being diagnosed and suffering with multiple serious life-threatening health conditions Patrick shares his journey through the very lows of his life. IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) Crohn's, Cancer, and many other health conditions.
Surgery after surgery put his body in a very weak state. He had so many within a 10 year period that his life changed. Living with an ostomy has not slowed him down in finding his mission. This mission is to share and bring awareness about Crohn's disease, ostomies and living with a chronic health issue.
Patrick found his peace and a mission at high elevations. Climbing several summits and creating a team of athletes sharing similar health issues. "THE OSTOMY ATHLETE" is fitting as I see pictures of him climbing summits, glaciers and tenting on a mountains edge.
