Chris' start is a humble one- from struggling high school student to finding his calling working as a construction framer, its his hands on experience that sets him apart from other entrepreneurs.

With his foundational experience Chris has brought forth innovation and new solutions into a mostly traditional industry. Today DC Materials provides a more efficient approach to construction builds by combining materials and labor, becoming a one-stop shop for developers- dubbing the company the Amazon of the construction framing sector.

This strategy enables DC Materials to engage early on with projects, facilitating close collaboration with architects and general contractors. This approach optimizes the framing process, and contributes to better and faster builds, tackling a critical efficiency gap in construction.

As a thought leader in the industry Tatge enjoys sharing his knowledge with others, recently presenting as a speaker at the NAHB International Builders Show. He currently serves on the board of the Structural Building Components Association, and has held the position of President at the National Framers Council.
