Sometimes it can be unsettling to actually get what you want. Achieving a physical goal you've been working toward feels really good, but it can also throw us off a bit because we tend to overestimate how it will impact other areas of our lives. Oftentimes we assume that once we check that box, we'll suddenly have our dream lives, dream relationships, and a whole new outlook, and then we're disappointed when that’s not immediately the reality. Today, Shira encourages us to think about if we're ready to get what we want and to visualize what that might feel like when we get it.
