In November 1983, in the town of Bloomington, Illinois, 30-year-old Susan Hendricks and her three children — 9-year-old Rebekah, 7-year-old Grace, and 5-year-old Benjamin — were found brutally murdered in their family home.
Their husband and father, David Hendricks, was away on a business trip at the time. But when calls home went unanswered, he rushed back — only to find his entire family gone.
Very quickly, suspicion turned toward him. The successful businessman, the devout family man — now the prime suspect. In 1984, David Hendricks was convicted of killing his wife and children.
But seven years later his conviction was overturned. He walked free in 1991 — and has never been charged again.
The murder of The Hendricks Family remains officially unsolved but was it – after all – their husband and father who killed his whole family and who got away with murder?
