Two coworkers. A quiet store. A wealthy town where nothing ever seems to go wrong—until it does. What happened inside a Lululemon store in Bethesda, Maryland in 2011 left detectives speechless, and a community shaken. This is the story of Jayna Murray. And the person who survived… might not be who they said they were.
In today’s episode of Macabre Mondays, Ale takes you to Bethesda, Maryland—an upscale, peaceful suburb just outside Washington, D.C.—where a routine closing shift at a Lululemon Athletica store took a horrifying turn.
Jayna Murray, a beloved and ambitious 30-year-old, was found brutally murdered inside the store.
Her coworker, Brittany Norwood, said they had been attacked by masked intruders.
But as the investigation unfolded, the story began to shift.
And the more detectives dug… the more it became clear—nothing about this scene made sense.
This is a case of betrayal, overkill, and an attempt to cover up one of the most vicious crimes in retail history.
