On this week’s episode of Mocs on the Mic presented by FirstBank, football head coach Rusty Wright joins host Chris Goforth to discuss spring practice, Pro Day and the signing class.
Coach Wright discusses his idea of the role of the quarterback and the team’s needs for the fall in replacing positions on the offensive line and in the defensive secondary as well as finding a quarterback. While the need to replace those moving on, the Mocs do have returning players to keep the momentum.
The pair also discuss this year’s Pro Day and the importance of giving players the opportunity to work out in front of pro scouts.
Coach Wright also talks about working to sign more players, the use of the transfer portal and the importance of finding the right fit for the program.
Join us each week on Mocs on the Mic as we talk all things Chattanooga Mocs.
