Today we will be discussing the most feared monster in all of Filipino folklore. These shapeshifting creatures appear as humans during the day, and transform into horrifying predators at night. They have been described as having backward feet, reversed toenails and bloodshot eyes. These creatures are so deeply ingrained into Filipino beliefs, that some rural areas of the Philippines continue to hold the belief in this creature today.
