There are two sides to every story, so today Janessa Finley-Ford, shares the story of how she went from supervising felons to marrying one. Travis Ford, Janessa’s now husband (then fiancé) was investigated unexpectedly for a crime he did not commit. As though that was not traumatic enough, Janessa was called to testify against him, national news covered his case in two separate campaigns, he lost his job when they said they would keep him as an employee, then his bank/retirement/investment/credit card accounts were closed (for a non-financial crime), and even though probation was recommended he was sentenced to prison.
