Description

This week we're listening to DVSN's song "Miss Me?" from their album A Muse in Her Feelings. It says all the things we want to say to that one person we're always missing but too scared to spill our true feelings to. Sometimes we turn to going out and consuming some drinks to help cope with missing someone, but everyone is different. It's always hard being on the receiving end of an "I miss you" text or call, because you gotta wonder if they mean it or if they're just lonely and in their feelings, maybe drunk, who knows? We can always appreciate someone going out of their way to be vulnerable and spill their feelings though, so this song is cute af. He's putting the ball in her court now and opening up to being rejected. If maybe the terms of the relationship weren't clear enough before, then this can be a second chance to be straightforward with how serious you want to be. We think that a gift is a very tangible way to show that you're sorry or want another chance or really miss someone. Don't let it replace quality time but make sure what you are giving is valuable whether it's time or money.

Another topic is - for new relationships, we're not testing you, but we're always judging and taking notes. If it's one little thing, then ok, but if it becomes a pattern, and we barely started dating, then that's a red flag. When something is fresh and new, this is the time to be your best self, so if someone is already slippin then you should probably run because that's just their character flaw and you don't have to live with that.

A question we pose about new relationships - Is it fake to act a certain way or present yourself a certain way if that's not how you really are? In the wise words of Kash Doll, "Never introduce me to a vibe you can't maintain".
