Yung Student Loans (featured on Season 3's episode "Wanna Give You Love") joins me again to talk all about dating apps. We start by getting into Jenevieve's 2020 song, Baby Powder. It was the second single she dropped right after Medallion, which is another bop. She's a new artist on the come up, working on her album and I'm excited to hear more.
Baby Powder is about being really into someone but then you see who they really are, maybe they do you dirty or something, but once you see it, you're over it. This happens a lot with dating, even more specifically when you use dating apps. We talk about how easy it is to catfish not just physically, but personality wise as well. Dating apps can be scary cuz people have the ability to study your profile and shape themselves to seem compatible, but you can't be fake forever. I had listeners send me their dating app stories and experiences so we have some wild ones, some funny ones, and some cute ones. YSL tells me about his experience with Hinge & Feeld, which is a popular app for singles and couples with "alternative lifestyles" like polyamory, kinks, etc. We also talk about Tinder versus Bumble.
