JD and Ashley talk about their own experiences in building businesses and what that has taught them about how to build a business - and ourselves - successfully and healthily!   • Don’t wait until you’re perfect. 
  • Start even if it’s messy 
  • Don’t have a rigid timetable 
  • Have something to give and know what you need in return 
  • Working in the business vs on the business 
  • Get mentors 
  • Network 
  • Lead with curiosity and enthusiasm 
  • Make time to rest and recharge -sleep, nutrition, exercise, connection, hobbies. Feed both sides of the brain 
  • Know your values and integrate them in from the start - your name, mission statement, culture building, all of it
