Description

Steelers 33 Browns 18 The first 16:31 of this contest portended an all-too familiar cataclysmic, post-bye week engine failure as evidenced by 7 yards of offensive production.  Then the languid performance of the Pittsburgh Football Steelers gave way to a resounding, glorious offensive explosion culminating in the decimation of a team that had once challenged the notion of our hoped-for dominance in dimming light of the Killer B Era. The Steelers eventually got revved up and hitting on all cylinders pummeling the Browns into submission by the 4th quarter when no one in a Brown's uniform seemed to want to jump on the James Conner freight train. This game saw a dominant performance by the offensive line, protecting Ben and opening cavernous holes for Conner.  Ben had time and took advantage by dropping a 43 yard bomb for a classic Ben-AB TD.  Conner bettered his initial performance against Cleveland, gaining 212 all-purpose yards. The defense substantially contained Nick Chubb, several splash plays aside, and made sure that Baker Mayfield had no one to throw to.  The line and edge rushers were joined by their defensive backfield compatriots to ensure that Mayfield never had time to throw.
