- Out of nowhere we hear that Steven Nelson asked to explore trade options and the Steelers granted the request. Nelson’s departure compounds the weakening of the secondary with the loss of Mike Hilton.
- We also talk about other personnel changes that happened this past week: Vince Williams is released; Zach Banner and Chris Wormly were re-signed. Former Detroit Lions’ LB Miles Killebrew and special teams star, is rumored to be negotiating a one-year deal. The Steelers are also talking to offensive lineman Joe Haeg, formerly of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.
