Growing up in Ohio, Knox’s whole existence before he ever wrote a song was basketball. After being unsure of his future, he eventually picked up a guitar in college and learned how to play through self-taught YouTube videos. Now, Knox is based in Nashville and currently touring with the band "Nightly." Knox stopped by The Mix studios before his show at the Metro to talk about his new song "Not The 1975," his new EP and how touring is going.
