Since the pandemic started, it seems like the ‘rules to live by’ have changed by the week… sometimes even by the day. In the earlier days, we had to decide whether or not we should join someone in the elevator, or who we should (or shouldn’t) allow into our “pod.” Then, came weighing the pros and cons of indoor vs. outdoor dining and asking ourselves, “how much really is six feet apart?” Now, we’re in uncharted territory as we navigate masks on vs. masks off and of course, vaccine politics. How do we (respectfully) balance the changing social landscape with our own comfort levels? What is the best way to bring up awkward conversation topics that didn’t even exist before 2020 and where are we headed next?
