Description

Like most habits, applying sunscreen (or not) is one that starts from a young age. You were either slathered with sunscreen every time you stepped out of the house, or believed that you didn't need it. Either way, for most children, the idea of putting on sunscreen is just as exciting as eating your vegetables. Today, we now know that protecting your skin from the sun should be a daily practice, and is just as pertinent to your overall health as washing your hands or wearing a seatbelt. This shift in the conversation surrounding sun protection can largely be attributed to innovators in the space who are making sun care products more inclusive and attractive–especially when it comes to communities of color. On this episode of The Well+Good Podcast, we are speaking to three of them, who have not only forged their own paths in skin care and sun safety, but who are also expanding the conversation and bridging the information gap that exists on the risks that come with not embracing sunscreen in our everyday routines. Now, consider this your reminder to re-apply.
