The issue of homosexuality has been much debated among Bible-believing evangelical Christians. Some churches affirm same-sex unions and lifestyles, while others don’t. Many Christians have simply decided that this is an issue that Christians need to “agree to disagree” over. 

So, is the question of being a gay Christian really that important in the 21st century? 

Yes, because this issue is both relevant and crucial to the gospel. In calling Christians to be holy, that necessarily includes not only our sexual behaviour, but also our thoughts and ideas about sex.
