Description

When someone wants to do something positive for themselves by breaking a habit - such as smoking, for example - most people wouldn't just suddenly stop with no difficulty.

They would have to shift their focus to something healthier to occupy their thoughts, or they would have to calculate the wonderful benefits of quitting each time they desired a drag.

I know, if you’re watching this you are trying to retrain yourself in some way now - maybe you are aiming for greater punctuality, more consistency working toward a goal, or something else beneficial.

Try using the same techniques you would to break a habit - you are, after all, creating a new, good habit.

1. MATURITY- be honest with yourself

It’s important to be brutally honest with yourself and admit that you have a bad habit that will lead to disaster or death if you continue to support it.

2. WHY

Understanding WHY is the root of the bad habit.

Maybe it’s a limited belief, maybe a lie we keep repeating ourselves. Maybe we think we’re lazy or too busy. Once when you get to the bottom of it, it’s easy to set goals and come up with the action plan

3. SETTING GOALS AND ACTION PLAN

If you want to stop a bad habit, you simply must replace it with a good one.

For that you need a good strategy, traceable goals and action plan.

4. WRITING GOALS

Write your goals down every morning as soon as you wake up and every night before you go to bed. Make it the very first and the very last thing you do. That way your subconscious is constantly expanding your resourcefulness.

5. ACCOUNTABILITY

You need an accountability partner.

During the deception stage you will want to give up. Doing it together with bunch of friends or with one more person makes a big difference, especially when you see them push through the same obstacles as you

6. GIVE YOURSELF ROOM TO GROW AND TIME FOR TRANSFORMATION

You must give yourself room to grow and time to transform.

Your habits are your identity and it’s not easy to change your identity. It takes time.

7. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF

You will win. Your success is inevitable.

If you fall off the horse - DON'T QUIT!

Just get back on as soon as possible.
