I noticed that very few people actually live their purpose.

I believe that starting from an early age, we are already protected by our own environment, by our own parents and sometimes by school.

There are a lot of limitations that come externally that we don’t follow our hearts and our God-given gifts because we follow and fall for the mainstream.

For instance, in school, we are taught that there is only ONE solution to a certain problem. We also learn that there is a certain way of achieving things and living.

But, if you look at the billionaire list, how many of them are actually educated?

Let me tell you about my theory, I believe about 80% of the people in every industry are completely fake and transactional. This means they have the wrong intention for the job. They are in that career not simply to be the best, to help people or become good stewards of their God-given gifts. They are there because of benefits and advantages. They are not there for their purpose or their heart’s desire.

For instance, the purpose of the doctor is to find the root of a problem and heal someone in an indefinite fashion. But, doctors who are transactional don’t care about healing, they care more about selling drugs.

People who are transactional don’t see beyond the dollar sign. They don’t see people as souls, they treat people as numbers.

A friend of mine lost his purpose during COVID so I checked up on him and asked how he’s doing in his new gig and if he’s getting used to it. And, he said something that really hit me. He said: “Of course, I don’t mind working but I MISS BEING GOOD AT SOMETHING.”

It is our necessity to be convinced in what we’re doing and to grow in our skill and our purpose. And, if we’re not developing our true gift then we’re just wasting our time.

I want you to focus on being genuine and authentic with yourself.

Here’s an exercise on how to find your true purpose.

Write down this question every morning and answer it every morning as soon as you wake up.

“WHAT WOULD I LOVE TO DO WITH ALL OF MY TIME FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?”

Your gift, your talent and your superpower lies within that answer.
