I am usually a pretty confident person.
But that's not because I have an enormous ego, or that I have false pride.
I’ve worked so hard in the last few years to remove my sense of entitlement, pride and toxic ego, and it’s ongoing. I keep working every day. Self awareness is critical.
When we go into any kind of an endeavor, we must be simply very well-prepared, and that alone is a good reason to feel confident.
Can we plan for everything? Not always. Most times, we can’t.
But it’s way easier to think on your feet and accept challenges when all of your “ducks are in a row”.
That's what I’m focusing on now in my new endeavor. DOING THE WORK!! Preparing!
Getting ready. Being proactive.
Even so, someone may be eroding your confidence by planting negative thoughts in your mind through stray comments.
Don't let that happen.
The preparation starts in the mind. Stay focused on the vision of the end result and believe your progress and small wins, regardless of how small they are. Don’t pay attention to no one else.
Be careful who you share your vision with to protect your positive mental state and never lose precious momentum.
Remember that you have already done what you needed to do, and that confidence you had initially is justified.
Don't let anyone imply otherwise.
GIVE love and effort to prepare and GET the confidence you need to achieve your goal.
