(Latin for last one) is not a choice but a conditional demand with a threat which, if not met, leads to the consequences of the threat.
On the other hand, a choice is an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities: an option without a threat and an opportunity to choose or select something voluntarily.
