- As we grow to become more like Jesus, an attitude of humility is something we should aspire to. We can pray and ask God to give us a humble spirit.
- It’s always challenging to talk about humility. How do you know if you are humble? In fact, if you think you finally exhibit humility, it’s in that moment you have probably lost it.
- Humility is an accurate estimation of our self-importance in relation to God and others. Here’s another definition I like… “Having a right view of yourself because you have a right view of God.”
Philippians 1:4-6 NLT - “Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.”
