Episode 355 - Show Notes:
- If you are feeling lonely today, I want to remind you of the promises of God. He has promised that you will not be alone, you will not be abandoned. Even if your family and friends forsake you, the Lord will still be with you.
- Though others turn away, He will not. If you belong to Him He has promised that no matter what comes up along the way, he will never leave you or forsake you.
- Despite your feelings and your emotions, determine today to stand upon the promises of God. You might feel abandoned, but you are not.
- Let’s decide to confront our fears with the truth of God’s Word. We will not let our emotions control us. We will be encouraged by the promise of God to never leave us or abandon us. Let’s thank God for his constant presence in our lives.
Psalm 27:10 says, “Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.”
2 Timothy 4:16-17 - “At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth.”
