Our talents automatically show up every day - for better or worse. They'll often show up in a way that helps us accomplish our goals, which is a Strength. But sometimes they actually get in our way and are showing up as a weakness. Because our talents are on autopilot, the only way to really know if they're helping your or getting in your way in different scenarios, is to pay attention and reflect on them each day. But thinking about all 5 or 10 of our dominant talents can be overwhelming. Instead, just focus on your favorite talent theme. It's a great way to get into the habit of thinking more about your talents. Or if you've already been paying attention, it's a great way to take an even deeper dive into your talents one at a time.
