Today's topic is about holiday shopping. Christmas season is here, whether you celebrate the holiday or not, the holiday season is when a lot of people typically end up a little lighter in the wallet. Shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Consumerism is on full display around this time of year, and no matter how hard we try to restrain ourselves, we end up emptying those wallets anyway.
In this episode, we're going to talk about our experiences with the holiday shopping season, and maybe shed light into why we spend too much, or how we are able to stay disciplined during this time of year.
Throughout this episode, we talked about how we "spend" during the holiday season, and spending doesn't always have to be in monetary terms. It seems from our own experiences, how we spend it, is a by-product (no pun intended) of one way during the holiday time showing the loved ones in our lives how we care.
In the end, there are many reasons that can drive us to spend during the holiday season. It can be because of marketing, reciprocity, or just because we love to give gifts to others, however you spend it during this time of year is all how we personally define it.
