Description

Hope is a paradox.

We have taught people that hope is light. A helium balloon. A sunrise. Something that lifts. But anyone who has carried an unanswered prayer for years knows this is not the full picture.

Biblical hope is often something you drag behind you on the days you cannot carry it. Abraham waited decades. Joseph lay on a prison floor. Hannah wept so openly the priest thought she was drunk. David ran for his life while wearing an anointing he could not yet use.Hope was not easy for any of them.

This podcast series, The Heaviness of Hope, is a raw and real conversation discussing how and why we carry hope.
