Based on Mike Isaac's 2019 book about the widely used ride sharing app Uber, this premiere tells the story of how Uber secured its funding and rebranded itself from being a simple cab company. Ex company CEO Travis Kalanick, played by Joseph Gordon Levitt, has a big ego, a big vision, and a huge workforce to deal with. The show draws upon numerous comparisons and though the cast is great, it can be criticized for following a well trodded formula.
