I started this podcast in attempt to stay connected to my fans during this global pandemic and I hoped to attract new fans as well. I'm not sure it's done much of either. The longer this "pandemic" goes on, the more politicized everything has become, so much so that I now feel uncomfortable speaking on current events. However, I guess I'm the type who doesn't start something if I can't finish it. So, the show goes on. I explain in this episode why I think it is still ok to love the USA. I also perform "The Star Spangled Banner" on my banjo. I practiced this song for weeks and still messed up in a few spots. I won't be the first to remark how difficult our national anthem is to sing/play.
