On this livestream I was pretty discouraged about some things, (namely that my newest video for Margaritaville only got 11 views in its first 24 hours of release https://youtu.be/LsiMQBVPelQ?si=huR-cTlZ3w5tez0R) but I talked about my search for tone…mostly banjo tone, but tone in general. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. I talked about Kurt Cobain's use of a nylon string acoustic guitar on the recording of "Something In The Way". I think nylon/Nylgut/gut strings are going to make a huge comeback with the advent of digital recordings and the fact that we don't need our instruments to be super loud now that we have amplifiers etc.
