This study will focus on Mark 14:43-52, where Jesus was betrayed by one of His disciples. It was a dark night of betrayal by Judas Iscariot, arrest by the Roman soldiers and the Temple guards, defense by Peter, and desertion by the rest of the disciples. These events have something to teach us about our Savior who was committed to fulfilling His life mission no matter the cost as well as something to teach us about ourselves and our human condition.
