This study will focus on Mark 11:12-25, where Jesus returned to the city of Jerusalem to cleanse the Temple. However, in route to the city that morning, He cursed a fig tree for its lack of fruit. That is the same reason that He cleansed the Temple, because of the lack of spiritual fruit among the Jews and their leaders.
In contrast with that, Jesus expected spiritual fruitfulness from His disciples (John 15:5,7). Today we will learn from Him three key ingredients to bearing fruit in our lives and in our church.
