In today's study we will consider Naomi’s story of grief from the Old Testament book of Ruth. The sorrow that she experienced in Ruth 1:1-14 was overwhelming to her, having lost her husband and her two sons. And certainly, there are times when our sorrow is overwhelming to us. However, as God helped Naomi through her sorrow and grief (Ruth 1:20; 4:14-17), He will help us through our sorrow and grief.
