In this study we conclude our journey through the Gospel of Mark as we consider its closing verses, Mark 16:1-8. These verses tell the story of a group of women who went to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus only to discover that His body is not there, and He had risen from the dead. From the Christian perspective, this is the most important event in all history; and yet there are many today who question the reliability of this event. That’s why we want to examine in-depth some of the Biblical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus.
