This study will focus on Mark 14:53-65, where Jesus was on trial before the Jewish Sanhedrin made up of the high priest, other chief priests, the elders, and the teachers of the law. These Jewish leaders were looking for some evidence against Jesus so that they might put Him to death. In the process of the trial, they made two mistakes in their case against Him. These are the same two mistakes that people can also make in their examination of Jesus and His life. These mistakes, if not corrected, can affects one’s eternity.
