In this study we will focus on the dangerous prayer — “Lord, Search Me.” This is the very prayer that King David prayed in Psalm 139:23-24, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” In this dangerous prayer, David asked the Lord to do a thorough examination of his heart, mind and life to determine what was wrong that he might correct it. If God did this same kind of spiritual exam of your heart, mind and life, what wrongs would He discover that needed to be corrected?
