This study will focus on a third dangerous prayer — “Lord, Stretch Me.” In Luke 17:5 the apostles asked Jesus to “increase our faith” after He taught them about forgiving others repeatedly. We, too, will need the Lord to stretch us and increase our faith as we strive to put into practice some of the Bible’s most challenging lessons. Of course, this will require God growing our faith (Philippians 1:6) and each of us learning through discipline and training (1 Corinthians 9:25, 27).
