This study will focus on Mark 14:27-42, where Jesus predicted that Peter would deny Him, and where Jesus agonized in the Garden of Gethsemane, with three of His disciples beside Him, about His upcoming death. There was one more lesson that Jesus wanted to teach His disciples, especially Peter. It was a lesson that He was learning Himself. It is also a lesson that we need to learn if we are to accomplish God’s will and not our own.
