Today’s study will focus on the Apostle Paul and the loneliness that he experienced during the final years of his life. Sadly, he spent those last years alone in a Roman prison, awaiting his death. But in his loneliness, he wrote his younger friend Timothy to come and visit him (2 Timothy 4:9-18). From Paul’s story of loneliness, we can learn both the causes and the cures for our own loneliness.
