Today’s study will focus on Mark 9:14-29, where Jesus heals a demon-possessed boy, who His disciples were unable to heal. Back in Mark 6:13, the disciples had the power on their mission trip to drive out such demons, but they could not do it with this boy. Jesus wants to use this experience to teach His disciples, the boy’s father, and us an important lesson about developing a greater trust in Him and His power in prayer.
