Description

Being held captive can have us feel like the world around us is closing in. It is as if the very air we breathe becomes thin. Over time we change, becoming different to who we imagined ourselves to be.
However, you don’t have to be a prisoner of war or a hostage to be trapped or held captive. People who freely move about in our neighbourhoods, schools or workplaces can, behind their smiles, be held captive by things in their past or present. A message by David Toscano
