Nursery rhymes are something we learn as small people, and they stay with us. Our hope is that through this series we can take something we know well and infuse additional meaning, so when you hear or see a nursery rhyme in the future you’ll be reminded of God’s wisdom for your life.
This morning we are going to start with Incy Wincy Spider.
If we were to summarise this nursery rhyme and what it communicates to small people, we probably have to go with these three words – never give up
Perseverance is an important life skill. Especially when life gets hard. But how do we find the energy to continue when life does get hard – and it’s a when, not an if - and in those moments how do we see beyond the circumstances we find ourselves in, to feel hopeful to persevere?
