In this episode I talk about feeling your feelings. Feeling is healing and we can’t heal without it, but we are often taught young not to feel or express our feelings. “Stop crying”, “Don’t be so dramatic”, or “you’re fine”, are common phrases we hear growing up. As adults we want to fix each other and so emotions are uncomfortable to us, so although well intentioned we often try and stop the emotion in the hopes that it gets resolved on its own, but the trick is to really feel and process it all.
