The children of Israel enjoyed angels food, had supernatural experiences in the wilderness, and drank water from the rock. They could not be cursed by Barak and Balaam his hired prophet . But they could not enter into the promised land that flowed with milk and honey until they went through the river Jordan to gather out the stone.
Joshua 4 vs.1-3: When all the people had crossed the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua, Now choose twelve men, one from each tribe. Tell them, ‘Take twelve stones from the very place where the priests are standing in the middle of the Jordan. Carry them out and pile them up at the place where you will camp tonight.’”
When Joshua gather out the stones in the depth of the river Jordan, He replaced them with something significant and powerful. The bible records that what Joshua left in Jordan is still there transmitting until this day.
Dearly beloved, we must clean out the sea to possess the land. You will now understand why Elisha sent Naaman to dip himself in the Jordan river to be cleansed of his leprosy. The Jordan river became a gate, a landing site, where chariots of fire descended. It was the place where the Holy Spirit like a dove descended and invaded the human domain. Jordan became a place where the double spirit was transferred and transmitted.
You do not need to physically go into the river, but there is a river of living water flowing out of your belly and as it flows into the sea, the sea will be healed and cleansed and you can cross over to the other side.
