Samuel consecrated Jesse and his sons and when he looked at Eliab after consecrating him, he immediately concluded without any iota of doubt that he was certainly the Lord’s anointed. But friends, God immediately rejected Eliab. Why? Because God is not impressed with human-arranged, cosmetic “microwave-like” consecration. That a man has been consecrated and approved even by a spiritually validated senior prophet and apostle of God does not guarantee the release of the precious, holy and sacred anointing oil of the Most High God upon such a man.
As soon as David arrived from the wilderness, however, the Lord immediately asked Samuel to arise and anoint him. The Lord did not ask Samuel to consecrate him first and then anoint him afterward. Why? Because David had long settled the issue of his personal consecration in the secret hence following the standard public consecration protocol was absolutely unnecessary.
Once you settle the issue of your personal consecration in the secret, in your office, in your home, etc the public release of the anointing oil on your head to increase your capacity will never pass you by.
Be blessed this morning as I have been thoroughly blessed by the Lord.
