Four powerful things that Jesus did to His disciples after His resurrection provides a spiritual pattern for us to follow. The first which we discussed in the previous podcast was that Jesus opened the eyes of His disciples. Mary could not recognize Him after resurrection until He opened her eyes to recognize and know Him.
Then He appeared to two disciples on their way to Emmaus and interacted with them for about 2 hours, talking with them as they walked along the way. What was Jesus doing while He walked with them? What will make the risen savior devote so much time to these disciples?
What was the purpose of this long walk? Was it necessary? Was it necessary? The disciples did not even appreciate the importance of this glorious walk with Jesus until He departed and vanished from them.
