When temple merchants and tax collectors challenged Jesus to pay tax, Jesus simply instructed Peter to go to the sea and not to the bank. Why? Because He understood what it means to enjoy the abundance of the sea. Isaiah 60 vs.5.
Why live in scarcity when there is abundance kept for you? Why beg men when you can rise to disposes the enemy, gather the stones and possess your abundance in the sea?
Peter got to the sea and probably met hundreds of other fisher men toiling day and night but his first catch already had enough resources to pay the tax for two.
Some fishermen probably boasted of thousands of fishes in their net, but Peter's one fish was more a worthy investment because it had a gold coin in it. In about ten minutes of fishing, he was done but the result was enough to settle many debts.
Friends, the mastery in spiritual warfare that delivers the abundance of the sea to you is a critical skill that you cannot afford to miss in this season of your life. You can only acquire this spiritual mastery by the Spirit of God. I share with you this morning a few things impressed on my heart. Listen and be blessed.
