Isaiah 62 vs.10: Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
Stones on spiritual highways are speed breakers strategically positioned to limit and restrain you from moving at the speed of the Spirit. Some people were going at top speed and growing exceedingly in the spirit until evil stones were put on their path. Some were enjoying their marriage until evil stones were set on their path of progress to slow them down. Some enjoyed their walk with God greatly until evil stones were put on their path.
Stones could represent strong demonic entities and personalities used for temptations – After 40 days fasting and praying in the wilderness, the first thing Satan confronted Jesus with was the temptation to convert stones to bread. Jesus would have ended his ministry the very first day if he did not understand these unspoken dimensions of spiritual warfare. To convert stone into bread is to translate satanic and demonic personalities into human and user friendly food that is most common for all to eat and consume.
Satanic stones could be used by the enemy as an instrument of temptation, seduction, lust and as a stumbling block on the path of dedicated and committed people of God.
My friend you cannot break through if you do not gather the stones off your way so you can run the race on the spiritual highway of holiness unhindered.
Isaiah 35:8: And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness;
