A very dear father in the faith shared this sad story with me. He said a single lady stood before the congregation of Christians in a well-known church to testify of the power of God and the summary of her testimony was that she got pregnant as a result of sexual immorality and she did everything to terminate the pregnancy but nothing worked for her but when she drank a specially purchased anointing oil, the pregnancy was aborted – The crowd cheered, the music band reeled out celebration tunes, the pastor took over the microphone and said "I told you there is nothing the anointing oil cannot do." How despicable things have become in the "so called church of God." Could this be part of the glorious church that Jesus is coming back for? Could this be a representation of the bride of Christ? Certainly not.
1 Timothy 6:3-5 : If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.
