Psalm 51: 16-17: The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise.
I want you to note that sacrifices can be despised. And if you understand this mystery, no power, principality, prince of the power of the air or the fowls of the air will ever be able to consume or devour your sacrifice. God despises lukewarm, ungodly sacrifices. The devil despises godly sacrifices. People around can also be used to despise godly sacrifices. And please note that you can also despise your own sacrifice. Whatever is despised by God becomes meat for the fowls of the air. When you despise your own sacrifice you are indirectly giving an open invitation to the fowls of the air to feast on your sacrifice.,
The sacrifices of a woman called Dorcas in Acts chapter 9 were so powerful that even in death, fowls of the air could not consume them. The sacrifices of this noble woman were potent enough to bring her back to life to continue her sacrifice for the kingdom. Peter and the Apostles did not know the magnitude of work that this woman did behind the scene. Friends, never despise your sacrifice today. Do it with your heart, do it as unto the LORD.
This message will cause a shift in your spirit as it did mine. Be blessed and encouraged this wonderful day.
