Description

1 Samuel 18:20-21 : Now Saul’s daughter Michal loved David, and when this was reported to Saul, it pleased him. “I will give herto David,”Saulthought,“so that she may bea snareto him,and the handof the Philistinesmay beagainst him.”

Michal the wife of David was positioned as an agent of the enemy.  To David she was a wife, but to those who arranged the marriage, she was meant to be a trap, a snare so that he can be trapped by the philistines.  And the original intention of the Philistines was to feed David as a meal to the fowls of the air.

1 Samuel 17: 44: And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.

So Michal was an involuntary agent of the enemy positioned to make David fall to the plans of the philistines.  And in 2 Samuel 6, when her husband brought back the ark of God to Jerusalem, he sacrificed and danced uncontrollably before the Lord. Unfortunately, Michal, the agent of the fowls of the air, refused to be involved. She stood at the window to despise the sacrifice of the King.  Dearly beloved,  one of the tactical strategies of the enemy to consume your sacrifice is to position his agents around you to despise your sacrifice and make you lose focus on the very core of your victory. Every sacrifice you make that attempts to usher in the glory of God, the presence of God and to please the Lord will certainly be despised by the agents of the fowls of the air positioned around you.

How do you deal with this? How do you drive away the fowls of the air positioned around you to despise, pollute and mock your sacrifice?
Listen to this and you will be deeply touched, encouraged and fired up to give a superior overwhelming response to the fowls of the air, the prince of the power of the air and their human agents.
